Catalogue entry
ADwin Real-Time systems and fully customized solution for Test-benches stands and Special-Machine automation in production lines, End-of-line testing, HIL, and mobile/lab-applications with ADwin. Real-Time systems, RT-CPUs, analog/digital-IOs, CAN-/LIN-/SENT are used in test-solutions for ECUs, sensors/actuators, power-train, hydraulic vibration tests, motors, drives.
The real-time development environments ADwin-C or ADbasic are available for programming the systems. For model-based developments with Matlab®/Simulink®, the ADwin blockset ADsim is available together with ADsim-Desk. User interfaces can be designed in .NET, c/c+, Python, Labview and many other environments.
ADwin systems are based on the principle of a process computer, which ensures maximum efficiency and reliability in time-critical applications such as control systems. The applications run on the system's own CPU in real time in the kHz to MHz range and with nanosecond precision. Signals from analogue/digital inputs and outputs as well as digital interfaces are quickly processed and reacted to by the 64-bit floating-point CPU directly in the system in each individual sampling step.
There is a clear division of tasks:
- The time-critical, fast and deterministic part of the application is executed on ADwin, independently of a PC and its utilisation.
- Visualisation, operation and data storage take place on a PC connected via Ethernet. For this communication between ADwin and PC, there is a data interface for all ADwin systems to a large selection of different common PC programmes.
- In addition, several interfaces for PLC communication and a bootloader for standalone operation are available if required.
