Catalogue entry
The chair of communications and information theory at TU Berlin participates in this year's SENSOR+TEST with the Startup MOXZ.
MOXZ is a patented wireless transceiver technology on the physical layer. The transceiver uses hereby a novel waveform for the transmission, which allows for a fully integrated communication and sensing (ISAC).
MOXZ enables therefore radar-applications with integrated communications capabilities, required for autonomous driving, industrial automation as well as the future generations of wireless networks. Furthermore, MOXZ also provides communications in challenging environments where classical approaches are only working very inefficient or even not at all.
The technology was developed in collaboration with the Technische Universität Berlin, the California Institute of Technology, and the California University of Irvine.
