Acoustic cameras, microphone array systems, are the main products of CAE. Those products are used to localize sound sources. Sound sources can be very various, and can carry information about the technical status of a system, can have information about the function, malfunction and activity of something, can show the presence of something or can just influence the comfort of people. There are various reasons to have the demand of localizing and analyzing sound sources. And the acoustic cameras of CAE do exactly that, they show the sound sources in a picture similar to a thermal camera.
