The requirements for measuring systems in space travel are extremely complex and call for innovative solutions. They must be low in outgassing so as not to contaminate the vacuum during ground tests in vacuum chambers. It is also crucial that no vapors condense on solar panels or optical instruments. Our cables are designed to avoid material changes such as “red plague” or “cold flow”, which is ensured by the use of suitable materials and careful handling. Our products have been extensively tested by our customers and meet the highest standards.

Connectors also play a crucial role in space technology. For certain ground tests, feed-through connectors that lead from a vacuum chamber to atmospheric pressure must be airtight and fitted with appropriate seals. These connectors are currently in the process of being certified by the European Space Agency (ESA).
