Highly sensitive with TMR
May 28, 2024
Detect small neodymium magnets at a distance of 15cm:
The new analog magnetometer ALT026-10E has a remarkable sensitivity of 4.5 millivolts per volt per microtesla. Based on TMR technology, the device can precisely measure fields with a linear range of +/- 200 Oe. The differential bridge outputs are bipolar, i.e. positive for a positive field and negative for an opposite field polarity. The ALT026-10E is ideal for a range of low-field sensor applications, including motion, speed, and position control; non-contact current measurement and mechatronics and robotics. With the new sensor, small neodymium magnets from a distance of 15cm and larger neodymium from a distance of almost 1m can be detected. There are now four TMR magnetometer versions of the ALT series available.
