Together with the Center for Micro- and Nanotechnologies at Chemnitz University of Technology, Fraunhofer ENAS is developing sensors for hydrogen systems determining both low and high hydrogen concentrations. The sensor technology is based on the principle of resistivity change.
Areas of application are in the field of safety to determine leaks as well as in production to ensure the quality of the hydrogen.
