AMSYS GmbH & Co. KG presents the compact NANO pressure switch from MP Sensor with IO-Link. The NANO pressure switch measures pressures from -1 to 12 bar: The switching outputs can be programmed both conventionally on site using keys and centrally via the IO-Link interface. This makes the switch a future-proof component in a modern Industry 4.0 sensor network!

In addition to a wide range of applications in pneumatics, automation and packaging technology, the Nano is also ideal for monitoring vacuum lifters. It enables considerable energy savings thanks to the pressure-dependent control of vacuum generators by means of adjustable hysteresis (separate-ly parameterizable switch-back point).

The parameters can be quickly and easily adapted to the respective application centrally via the IO-Link interface or using buttons and display. The easy-to-read LED display provides immediate feedback on the control variables. In addition, the sensors can also be subsequently integrated into a manufacturer-independent Industry 4.0-compliant sensor network via an IO-Link-compatible output, which means that the full functionality of the sensor is also available centrally in the network. This makes it easy to implement a central warning system (predictive maintenance), and the system can be operated and programmed remotely. Even without direct access to the system, it can be monitored.

Relative pressures from -1 to 12 bar are connected via the G1/8” internal thread, the electrical connection is made via an M8 plug, which also supplies the supply voltage of 10...30 V. Thanks to a load capacity of 250 mA each, the outputs can already switch many valves directly without relay stages. The Nano is short-circuit protected and comes in an IP65 housing.

With its display and key operation on the one hand and its IO-Link capability on the other, AMSYS offers with the Nano a pressure switch that combines both simple handling on site and sustainability for an integration in future viable networks
