Low-cost sheathed wires are becoming increasingly important due to their versatile use in sensors. The precious metal-saving alternatives compared to pure metals can be tailored to individual requirements, in different material combinations, to suit the respective application.
Platinum and rhodium thermocouple wires, types S, R and B, for high-temperature measurement are also manufactured in Vienna. Standard diameters of 0.35 and 0.50 mm are immediately available, special diameters within 5 to 10 working days. The measuring wires are available on spools or already assembled and connected with a fusible bead. Protective tubes made of platinum/rhodium and FKS 16 platinum round off the range of services for high-temperature measurement.
