Sensor and Measurement in the Industrial Internet
The SENSOR+TEST 2018 – the leading international trade fair for sensor, measuring, and testing technology – takes place from the 26th to the 28th of June under the motto “Welcome to the Innovation Dialog!” During the three days of the fair, about 590 exhibitors – 40% from abroad – can again expect more than 8,000 visitors in Halls 1, 2, and 5 at the Nürnberg Exhibition Center. The SENSOR+TEST is a permanent entry in the calendars of all user branches that require more and more sensor, measuring, and testing systems for the development and production of their products.
Touching all facets of this year’s special topic “Sensor and Measuring Technology in the Industrial Internet,” visitors to the SENSOR+TEST 2018 can find out how real-world data is precisely measured, securely transferred, and unerringly evaluated with expert knowledge. This trend-setting topic is not only dealt with at a special forum, but also at a special session in the lecture forum Hall 5.
Holger Bödeker, AMA Service’s managing director, says, “The data from sensors and measurements points converge in the industrial Internet and generate digital status maps of real machines, systems, and processes. It’s this comprehensive data, brimming with information, that will allow the industry of the future to increase security, productivity, efficiency, and quality.”
International Technical Conferences
As scheduled, two first-rate international conferences again accompany this year’s SENSOR+TEST: At the 19. ITG/GMA-Fachtagung “Sensoren und Messsysteme” the latest results from research and development are to be presented. And for the third time, after 2014 and 2016, the “European Test and Telemetry Conference – ettc2018” is to be held parallel to the SENSOR+TEST. Here, the focus will be on special topics, such as telemetry and telecontrol, test instrumentation, and data processing. These topics are also to be dealt with at the accompanying exhibition in Hall 2.
Free Exhibitor Forums
Besides the comprehensive conference programs, visitors can again expect many free lectures at the forums in Halls 1 and 5. There, numerous exhibitors will provide an overview of their newest products and developments. Interdisciplinary connections will also be revealed at the theme stand “Vision Sensors and Systems”.
The SENSOR+TEST 2018 is open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M. and on Thursday from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. Visitors that register online at www.sensor-test.com/voucher will receive a free entrance voucher.
