Murata complements its 6-DoF offering
Since mid-2024, Murata has been offering the compact 6-DoF sensor called SCH16T. With its impressive values for Angular Random Walk and very high quality of the acceleration unit, the SCH16T has also set new standards with its "timestamping" for synchronization. Only the values for the yaw rate have narrowed down the applications somewhat. For use at very high angular velocities in the short term, there is now an addition to this product family. The K10 option has a recommended measurement range of 2000°/s (±16g) and a dynamic range of 2600°/s (±26g). The bias instability is 2°/h or 15μg. Particularly interesting for tasks with rapid changes of direction such as those found in robotics, automation or commercial drones (agriculture, infrastructure). Since this new sensor is "pin-compatible" to its predecessor, it can be used on our nanoMoveIT (APNM) demonstrator, for example.
