Ultra-low permeability barrier coating made by combined ALD and CVD processes. A multilayer composite thin film made of Parylene and ceramics with a water vapor transmission rate as low as 3 10-5 g/m2 day. As thin as 5 um with several orders of magnitude better protection than conventional parylene, epoxy and acrylic conformal coatings.
