NVE is a USA-based manufacturer of high-performance spintronic sensors, isolators, and MRAM using GMR, TMR and AMR technologies. We have our own fabrication and test facilities onsite in Eden Prairie, a suburb southwest to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our passion is to drive the practical commercialization of spintronics, a nanotechnology that relies on electron spin rather than electron charge to acquire, store and transmit information.

NVE manufactures high-performance spintronic sensors including proximity, speed, current, angle, and gear sensors based on giant magnetoresistance (GMR) and tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) combined with integrated circuitry. New Smart Sensors have integrated signal processing circuitry with simple, powerful user interfaces. The company offers sensors with nanotesla sensitivity, nanowatt power consumption, and packages as small as 0.6 x 0.6 mm. The company also offers a unique a line of spintronic isolators with up to 7 kV isolation.

NVE also provides custom sensors and modules with tailored magnetics, electronics, and packaging. With a proven track record in industrial control, aerospace, automotive, and medical applications, NVE has seen many problems and customer requirements.
