EMC Gems S.r.l. designs, manufactures and supplies rotary and linear inductive encoders that can be used as position, proximity, torque and level sensors. Production can be customised to customer specifications or a component can be selected from the shelf. Inductive encoders enable digital twin models of rotating machines and, by also measuring the vibration of the shaft, they detect early failures of electromechanical components. The digital twin implemented on embedded systems (twin-on-chip) thus enables predictive maintenance.

EMC Gems S.r.l. is active in the field of electromagnetic simulation with in-house developed software that allows the characterisation of electrical and magnetic components such as inductive, magnetic and current sensors, antennas or components for power electronics.
