The iCampµs Cottbus is a research collaboration between the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and the two Fraunhofer Institutes IPMS and IZM, two Leibniz Institutes FBH and IHP and Thiem-Research GmbH in the field of microsensor technology. The R&D project of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research to implement structural change in Cottbus will be funded with a total of €20 million from January 2022 to December 2026 and aims to carry out joint research and development on sensor technology with local industry, especially SMEs. We offer excellent partners in the field of microsensor technology and an associated partnership for companies in the project. Exemplary project results that will be shown at the stand during Sensor & Test are a medical radar for contactless recording of vital parameters, predictive maintenance using the example of a mini conveyor belt and a MEMS varactor for high-frequency applications.
