POLYTEC – Precision made visible
Where conventional sensors reach their limits, Polytec makes the invisible measurable. We provide the data basis for your innovations.
Laser vibrometry: The standard in modern vibration analysis
Whether it's disturbing noises, material fatigue, or complex structural vibrations – dynamic effects are often the cause of product defects. Laser Doppler vibrometry (LDV) makes these phenomena precisely visible – without contact and without influencing the object being measured.
Your component. Our lasers. Live measurement at the booth.
Your advantages at a glance:
• No feedback: Measure without additional mass – ideal for lightweight construction and the smallest components.
• Extremely precise: Detection of the smallest amplitudes down to the picometer range.
• Maximum bandwidth: From quasi-static processes to frequencies in the MHz range.
• Unlimited flexibility: Measure without difficulty on rotating, glowing, or hard-to-reach surfaces.
As a result, resonances, structural modes, and microdynamic effects become visible where conventional sensor technology remains blind.
Working together for the optimal solution
Polytec is more than just an equipment manufacturer. We are your partner for precise analysis and support you in:
• Finding causes: Identify sources of noise (NVH) and unwanted vibrations.
• Optimizing products: Improve the performance of your components in a targeted manner.
• Validating simulations: Align your FEM models with real measurement data.
• Ensure quality: Integrate reliable 100% testing directly into your production line (end-of-line).
Please also visit our second booth, 1-202, located directly after the central entrance to
Hall 1. There you will find a selection of our fiber optic sensor solutions, from temperature profiles with millimeter resolution and continuous strain measurement up to 50 km in length, to pressure measurements with excellent repeatability and reliability, to level measurements for liquids that operate for decades without service in hazardous environments and without drift.
Over 50 years of innovation leadership
For over five decades, Polytec has been developing laser vibrometers that set technological standards worldwide. Our position as market leader is based on numerous patents and the continuous development of our systems – always closely aligned with the specific requirements of modern customer applications. In research and industry, experts rely on our technology to understand dynamic processes and bring tomorrow's products to market faster.
Precision from experience – innovation through visibility.
