FORCEBIT introduces the ACCbit — a wireless, high-resolution encoder for rotating shafts that overcomes the fundamental limitations of traditional pulse-based encoders.
The ACCbit combines MEMS accelerometers with advanced virtual sensing algorithms that leverage gravity (for angle), centrifugal forces (for velocity), and tangential acceleration — delivering high-resolution estimates of rotational displacement, velocity, and angular acceleration from a single compact unit.
Installation is effortless. The ACCbit clamps directly onto the shaft, requires only 18 mm of axial space and 16 mm radially, and is ready for measurement within minutes. Its modular collar system supports shaft diameters from 25 to 200 mm, with collars interchangeable with the TELbit.
Angular acceleration data directly reveals torsional modes and dynamic loads — critical information for drivetrain health, gearbox diagnostics, and preventing premature failure.
