Digital stereo microscope with genuine 3D experience without glasses
Feb 11, 2026
Vision Engineering, a leading global provider of ergonomic microscopes and digital visualisation solutions, introduces ProteQ VISO, an innovative digital stereo microscope that enables true 3D image viewing on a flat screen without eyepieces or 3D glasses. The integrated ‘autostereo’ display with eye-tracking technology delivers brilliant, eye-friendly 3D images and allows the user complete freedom of head movement.
ProteQ VISO was developed for demanding inspections, prototype development and precision assembly work – for example in electronics, medical device manufacturing or prototype construction. The ergonomic design with adjustable screen, upright seating position and 10:1 zoom ensures maximum comfort and efficiency during long working periods.
For collaboration and documentation, ProteQ VISO offers integrated digital functions such as image and video recording, live streaming, measurement and annotation tools, picture-in-picture views and software integration. This makes it easy to share work results – within the team on site or via remote access.
Practical details such as flexible lighting options, optional 360° oblique/direct viewer (angled optics), transmitted light illumination and a removable display for laminar flow box applications increase versatility.
‘ProteQ VISO marks the next generation of ergonomic desktop digital microscopy,’ emphasises Stefan Summer, Head of Marketing & Communication Central Europe at Vision Engineering. ‘It combines speed, precision and user comfort with true stereoscopic clarity on the screen.’
