Coher Sense develops compact sensor systems for precise laser characterization. The company’s KISA sensors enable simultaneous real-time measurement of wavelength, spectral bandwidth and power, effectively acting as a “multimeter” for laser sources used in research, industrial sensing and process analytics.

The technology is based on polari-interferometric methods originally developed for fusion diagnostics and has been adapted for robust, compact and easy integration into laboratory instruments, industrial measurement systems and OEM solutions.

For its KISA sensor technology, Coher Sense has been shortlisted for the AMA Innovation Award 2025 and received the special prize for “Young Companies” (Sonderpreis Junge Unternehmen).
