Berlin, May 18, 2026 – imc Test & Measurement introduces FAMOS Reader 2026, an updated version of its
free measurement data analysis software. The new version enables the quick review and visualization of
measurement data and, for the first time, supports the direct preview of Apache Parquet files in Microsoft
Windows Explorer. Apache ParquetTM has established itself as a powerful format for large, structured datasets and is playing an increasingly important role, particularly in big data applications and cloud-based
data architectures. The new FAMOS Reader simplifies the first, often crucial step in processing
measurement data in the cloud: When a Parquet file is selected in the Windows Explorer, FAMOS Reader
2026 immediately displays the contained measurement data as a graph. Users can switch between
measurement channels using a scroll bar, zoom in on and navigate the data in Explorer, and display
metadata. Test engineers, project managers, and development teams can thus evaluate, organize, and
prepare large measurement datasets for further analysis more quickly.
