The WinControl software was developed for data acquisition and processing with ALMEMO® measuring instruments. The Windows interface and context-sensitive online help ensure quick familiarization and convenient operation of the program. The software can be flexibly adapted to any project and offers numerous wizards, both for specific measurement tasks and for calibrations.
With the sensor calibration wizard, multi-step sensor calibration is defined by the user via calibration programs with a setpoint list and stability criteria. A calibrator can be controlled by specifying the setpoint. What makes it special: With the WinControl software, any number of measurement points can be calibrated simultaneously, and measurement data recording runs automatically. When the stability criterion is met, an adjustable number of values per calibration step is saved. If needed (e.g., for further processing), the values can be exported as AMR, CSV, or Excel files. For a clear overview, progress is displayed in an overview window.
Calibration of climate chambers in accordance with the DAkkS-DKD-R 5-7 guideline can also be optimally performed using the WinControl software. With the corresponding wizard, Methods A and B are available, each with 9 or more measurement points. Temperature and humidity calibration is fully automated across any number of steps with stability criteria. Local humidity at the temperature measurement points is calculated taking air pressure and dew point into account. Dew point levels from MBW, DewMaster, DewTrans, and Michell are also supported. Climate chambers from most manufacturers can be directly integrated for setpoint specification and measurement data acquisition.
To display and document the measured values, either the online function during measurement or the offline function after measurement is used. The WinControl software automatically generates an Excel report containing all measured values, measurement uncertainties, and measurement uncertainty budgets. The user can easily adapt the Excel report template to their needs.
