The compact, electrodynamic shakers in The Modal Shop's Mini SmartShaker™ family are ideal for mechanical testing of small devices, electronic components, mini motors, etc., as well as for modal analysis of light, small structures. The shakers offer high flexibility in laboratory and mobile use thanks to their built-in power amplifier. A simple signal generator or the audio output of a smartphone is sufficient for control, and power can also be supplied via a car's electrical system.

The K2004E01 and K2007E01 electromagnetic shaker models generate forces of 20 N and 31 N, at a frequency of up to 11 kHz and a maximum stroke of 13 mm. The power amplifier is integrated into the base of the shaker, eliminating the need for external amplifiers in a 19-inch housing. The shakers' dimensions of approximately 9 x 9 x 14 cm and weight of just under 3 kg make them easy to transport. Amplification factors are adjustable, and the electronics can detect overload and switch off the device. The robust suspension made of carbon fibre composite material prevents damage to the structure. The Mini SmartShakers™ are mounted on swivel bearings, and the transport case includes a power supply unit and various 10-32 nylon stingers.
