The Endevco 7262A piezoresistive MEMS accelerometer from PCB Piezotronics has an amplified output signal: the available measuring ranges are ±100, ±500 and ±1000 g, with corresponding voltage outputs of ±0,5 V (100 g) and ±1 V (500 g and 1000 g). In addition, thanks to its precise temperature compensation, the sensor can be used for accurate measurements over an operating temperature range of -54 to +121 °C. The sensor in its compact and lightweight anodized aluminium housing is resistant to shocks of up to 10000 g and has an IP 67 protection rating.

The 7262A series sensors are particularly suitable for measurements during road tests of heavy off-road vehicles and for other applications with slow transient movements.
