Lange-Electronic GmbH – Resilient PNT, Time and Frequency Solutions

Lange-Electronic GmbH has been developing and distributing systems for Positioning, Navigation & Timing (PNT) for more than 45 years. The company focuses on precise, reproducible and resilient solutions for testing, validation and operation of safety- and time-critical systems in industry, research and critical infrastructures.

In the field of time and frequency, Lange-Electronic provides high-precision GNSS-referenced time servers with various holdover technologies to bridge periods of degraded or unavailable GNSS reception. Solutions from Oscilloquartz (ADTRAN) support ePRTC architectures with highly stable reference sources. The portfolio is complemented by systems from Elproma, Masterclock and PikTime for NTP-, PTP- and IRIG-based applications as well as redundant and cross-protocol synchronization solutions. PikTime systems also enable high-quality fiber-optic time transfer with very high stability and accuracy over long distances.

For development, testing and verification of GNSS receivers and systems, GNSS simulators and Record & Playback systems from Spirent Communications (Keysight) are used. These allow reproducible multi-constellation and multi-frequency scenarios, including defined interference, jamming and spoofing tests under controlled laboratory conditions.

In the area of GNSS interference detection and analysis, Lange-Electronic collaborates, among others, with OHB Austria, particularly on systems for detection, classification and time-stamped documentation of interference events.

With CRPA-Guard, Lange-Electronic offers a CRPA-based multi-antenna system with adaptive signal processing for spatial suppression of jamming signals. The system captures GNSS signals on L1 and L2 per antenna element and supports robust GNSS operation even in disturbed signal environments.
