The eLichens P2M50 EmiVolta is an intrinsically safe, ATEX & IECEx Zone 1 certified, battery-operated device that delivers autonomous, high-sensitivity detection from very low methane concentrations up to 100% CH₄, with no recalibration nor field maintenance needed, and a 10-year battery lifespan.
eMETS Platform for P2M50 EmiVolta enable sub-meter localization with source equiment identification, and quantification with methane emission rates down to 0.1 kg/h, streamlining LDAR programs and enabling OGMP 2.0 reporting.
Our solution is connected with LoRaWAN or LTE-M/NB-IoT and seamless cloud integration with its platform eMETS, it offers real-time insights and automated compliance ; all in a scalable, cost-efficient solution with the lowest Total Cost of Ownership in the industry.

Wireless, battery-operated, Residential Methane Detector.
It embeds the methane sensor from eLichens, a cutting-edge NDIR (Non-dispersive Infrared), dual-channel sensor designed specifically to detect Methane. The sensor ultra-high selectivity has been validated by the Gas Technology Institute (GTI) and prevents the generation of false alarms by volatile hydrocarbons.
The sensor is based on eLichens’ patented technology including a proprietary IR micro-source, patented optical design and advanced signal processing algorithms.
It provides the lowest power consumption on the market and is a key differentiator for battery-powered safety products. Avolta RMD has an autonomy of more than 10 years, with the sensor constantly ON and a heartbeat message sent every 8 hours.
