iCampµs Cottbus is a research collaboration between the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, the two Fraunhofer Institutes IPMS and IZM, the two Leibniz Institutes FBH and IHP, and Thiem-Research GmbH in the field of microsensor technology. The R&D project of the Federal Ministry of Research for the implementation of structural change in Cottbus is funded with a total of €20 million from January 2022 to December 2026 and aims to facilitate joint research and development in sensor technology with local industry, particularly SMEs. We offer excellent partners in the field of microsensor technology and an associated partnership for companies within the project. Examples of project outcomes include a medical radar for contactless monitoring of vital signs, an ultrasound camera for detecting objects in the surrounding environment, and a MEMS varactor for high-frequency applications. In addition, we are presenting two start-ups – NMI Technologies and Mesh4U – which emerged from the iCampµs programme. They will be showcasing their solutions for spectroscopic plastic sorting (NMI) and infrastructure monitoring using wireless sensor networks (Mesh4U). Our experts look forward to speaking with you! Please feel free to arrange your personal appointment in advance with the usual contacts from the iCampµs team.
