With the M5601, AMSYS GmbH & Co. KG introduces a versatile, wireless pressure transmitter capable of measuring both absolute and gauge pressure up to 1000 bar – safely, accurately, and completely cable-free. Via Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE 4.2), the sensor transmits pressure and temperature data reliably to mobile devices or PCs, making it ideal for remote monitoring, mobile maintenance, and predictive maintenance applications.

A key feature of the M5601 is its ATEX and CSA HazLoc (IECEx) certification, enabling use in hazardous areas (Zone 0). Whether for monitoring air, gas, or oil pressures in hard-to-reach installations, the M5601 ensures fast and secure data transmission to Android™ (from version 4.3) and iOS devices (from version 7). Its energy-efficient wireless communication enables a battery life of over 2 years (using a CR2032 or CR2050W cell).

Housed in a robust IP65-rated stainless steel enclosure (17-4 PH / 1.4542), the sensor is completely media-resistant, with no internal O-rings. It is compatible even with aggressive fluids such as fuels, contaminated water, steam, or mildly corrosive liquids. The M5601 covers pressure ranges from 70 to 1000 bar, while the M5600 (non-ATEX version) is also available for lower pressures starting at 3.5 bar.

AMSYS also offers the U5601 for low-pressure ranges from 350 mbar, which stands out for its high accuracy and internationally recognized intrinsic safety certifications. All models are available with various pressure port configurations and support absolute, gauge, and compound pressure measurements (including negative pressures in compound mode).

Data can be accessed via mobile app or Windows® software (from XP/7 and above). With their rugged construction, long-term stability, and media-isolated design, these wireless transmitters are ideally suited for a wide range of industrial applications – from retrofitting existing systems to smart condition monitoring in complex operations.
