AMSYS GmbH & Co. KG offers the AD-102, a highly precise ultrasonic air bubble detector that stands out for its unique accuracy and speed. It detects even the smallest air bubbles, ensuring maximum safety in critical applications.

For over 25 years, AMSYS has been advising industrial and medical technology companies in selecting optimal sensor solutions. The AD-102 Air Bubble Detector (ABD) is used worldwide in medical technology (infusion pumps, hemodialysis, blood flow monitoring), the food industry, and 3D printing, delivering reliable results.

The AD-102 operates non-invasively and continuously, detecting even the tiniest air bubbles or interruptions in liquid flow within less than 0.5 ms. Thanks to its exceptional precision, it identifies air bubbles as small as 300 µm in radius or 0.5 µl in volume—a critical feature for safety-sensitive applications. The standard version is designed for 6 mm tubing, but custom variants for tubing diameters from 3 mm to 10 mm are available upon request.
