Sustainability and efficiency are the key factors of modern sensor technology - and this is exactly where the AMS 5935 from AMSYS (https://www.amsys.de) comes in. This high-precision low-pressure sensor is manufactured in Germany and impresses with its extremely low power consumption: only 250 nA in sleep mode and 2 mA during measurement ensure maximum energy savings. Thanks to an integrated I²C/SPI interface, the AMS 5935 delivers calibrated pressure and temperature values with high accuracy and works with a supply voltage of 1.7 V to 3.6 V - ideal for battery-powered applications.

The sensor is based on a piezoresistive pressure sensing element with a state-of-the-art signal processing ASIC and is supplied in a compact ceramic DIL package for easy PCB mounting. Its low total error in the temperature range of -25 to 85 °C and even higher precision at room temperature make it the perfect choice for applications with high accuracy requirements.

The AMS 5935 is available for pressure ranges from ±1.25 mbar and for various differential, relative, absolute and bidirectional pressures up to 2 bar. Depending on the application, you can choose between a DIL version with vertical pressure connections for hoses or a valve block version with an O-ring seal for space-saving installation. Customized adaptations are possible on request.
