The Quad JSIR 350-4 emitter is a high quality IR emitter with 4 chips on a TO8 header for measuring gases in very low concentrations or gases with low absorption characteristics. The version in the standard TO8 package with reflector without window is also suitable for long measurement distances from 30 cm. This MEMS-based counterpart to the filament emitter is unique in the world. It has a much longer lifetime and less drift.

Unlike filament infrared sources, the JSIR 350 Quad emitter is modulatable and does not require an additional chopper. The high performance nanoamorphous carbon chip achieves diaphragm temperatures up to 850 °C for high and long-term stable radiant power. The JSIR 350 Quad IR Emitter is ideal for various gas analysis applications in medical, industrial, aerospace and other demanding applications.
