The model 378A04 microphone from PCB Piezotronics enables the measurement of extremely low amplitudes. With a typical noise floor of only 5,5 dB(A), this ICP®/IEPE microphone system offers all the advantages normally associated with pre-polarised systems.

The 378A04 is a matched measurement microphone that complies with the IEC 61094-4 standard and consists of a highly sensitive pre-polarised microphone capsule and an extremely low-noise ICP®/IEPE microphone preamplifier. The preamplifier contains a special filter that keeps the free-field response flat over a wide frequency range.

Thanks to the ICP®/IEPE technology used, the microphone can be used with almost all measurement data acquisition systems available on the market.
