meaSONIC® measures the basis weight of flat webs material-independently from 0 to 3500 g/m² at up to 200 Hz. The ultrasonic absorption method replaces beta and X-ray radiometry – with no licensing burden, no radioactive sources, and no disposal or radiation-protection overhead.
