Sound and vibration analysis, where high bandwidth signals need to be acquired, requires powerful measurement equipment. PCB Piezotronics offers the Model 485B39, a compact and robust measurement data acquisition device in a waistcoat pocket format. Signal conditioning is simple and fast via a USB connection, no driver installation is required. Measurement signals can be easily acquired and displayed on devices with iOS, Android, Windows and Linux operating systems.
The unit has two analogue input channels to which sensors with IPC®/IEPE technology can be connected and supplied. The measuring amplifier digitizes the sensor signals with 24 bits and passes them on in real time. With optional third-party software, time signals can be recorded and further analyses performed.
The small dimensions of the stainless steel housing of only 60 x 38 x 23 mm, the low weight of 125 grams and powerful software options make this device a perfect tool for measurements in and outside the laboratory.
