In order to digitize sensors from any manufacturer and connect them to flexible data loggers, AHLBORN has developed a measuring technology that focuses on the connector plug. By using powerful microprocessors, self-sufficient digital sensors are created which themselves function like a measuring device. Configuration is extremely simple and is carried out via the sensor menu on the device or free configuration software. Advantages of the new technology, in addition to the connection of a wide variety of sensors, are digital signal transmission, any cable length and interchangeable sensors without loss of calibration data. In addition, individual parameters such as scaling, attenuation, averaging, measuring rate or longer comments can be stored in the connector plug. Each connector provides space for 10 measurement and calculation channels. The display ranges in the device can be extended to 200,000 digits. The sensors can be exchanged at will and extend the application possibilities of the measuring instruments many times over.
