Unbelievable but true: ALMEMO® measurement technology from Ahlborn can truly measure anything. A single data logger is all that’s needed to record every conceivable measurement parameter. The intelligent ALMEMO® connector system allows for the connection of numerous sensors: temperature, humidity, flow, pressure, force, electrical parameters, radiation, gas concentration, and many more.
One example of such a versatile device is the brand-new ALMEMO® 510 data logger. The modular measurement system can be perfectly adapted to any application. For particularly large-scale projects, the data logger can be expanded to up to 100 measurement inputs and 1,000 measurement channels, depending on the housing. The 8 MB flash memory can store 400,000 to 1.5 million measurement values.
Analog sensors are measured using a built-in fast, high-resolution AD converter. The additional galvanic isolation between measurement inputs and the power supply further enhances measurement quality. ALMEMO® D6 and D7 sensors transmit their measurement values digitally to the data logger. However, regardless of which probes are used, all parameters are always fully configured via the free ALMEMO® Connect software.
The KL option allows for the programming of a multi-point calibration or linearization in the ALMEMO® connector for ALMEMO® probes. All network configurations suitable for ALMEMO® measurement technology are possible via digital ALMEMO® output cables: RS232, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and ALMEMO® wireless module.
Online measurements are enabled by the WinControl software, for which the measuring device operates as a PC interface. LEDs indicate the operating states on the interface card and the measurement circuit cards. For long-term measurements, an additional safeguard is provided: A battery slot serves to bridge short-term interruptions in the power supply. Should the PC connection be lost, the measured values in the measurement channel card can be buffered in the built-in data memory (configurable fail-safe mode). The RTA6 relay/trigger/analog interface is available as a plug-in card for outputting alarm and control signals. The outputs can be controlled either directly by the measuring instrument or by the WinControl software.
