With the new VM80 vibration analyzer, the company now presents a compact and powerful solution for professional vibration analysis.
The device features four inputs for IEPE sensors as well as an additional tachometer input for precise speed measurement. It records and stores vibration parameters in the time domain and also enables detailed analysis in the frequency domain.

• Machine condition monitoring
• Balancing
• Rolling bearing diagnostics
• Detection of resonances
• Measurement of hand-arm and whole-body vibration
• Measurements on extremely vibration-sensitive objects according to VC and Nano criteria

A bright 5-inch touchscreen ensures convenient operation. Particular emphasis was placed on user-friendliness: unlike many comparable devices, the VM80 can be operated intuitively and without prior training. When using TEDS sensors with electronic data sheets – for example from Metra’s product range – measurement setup becomes even easier.

Measurement results are stored in CSV format on an SD card. Via a USB interface, the data can be easily transferred to a PC for further processing in text editors or spreadsheet software. Recording of raw data in WAVE format is also possible. Screen contents can be exported as bitmap files.

The integrated rechargeable battery provides 6 to 8 hours of operation and is conveniently charged via a USB-C port. Thanks to its rugged IP65-rated housing, the analyzer is perfectly suited for outdoor use.
