The L2 low profile incremental encoder gains compared to E2 and E5 Kit Encoders at least 7mm and adds up to 33% more power for smaller sized motors. The L2 uses the proven EM1 optical encoder module and disk with a resolution to 5000ppr having billions of device-hours of dependable service in customer applications. The Kit is fast to install as the cover snaps onto the base to secure the module. It is designed for use with a high-retention connector or cable.
