Low degree-of-polarization superluminescent diode DL-CS5083A-LDP-FP

Our partner DenseLight, well known as the leading manufacturer of superluminescent diodes, presents its latest “Low-DOP”-series. A degree of polarization <5% provides users with a high design efficacy, making strain or temperature measurements more precise than ever before. It also allows a simple and more cost-effective overall system design of fiber-optic sensor instruments. For a start, the SLED comes in a butterfly package which emits 10mW. The DL-CS5083A-LDP-FP has a FWHM bandwidth of 35nm @1550 nm center wavelength.
All products are made according Telcordia standards (GR-468-CORE) in order to achieve long lifetime.
