The INFRA.sens® module series from Wi.Tec-Sensorik has a new addition. With the new SF6 module, it is possible to determine the purity and quality of sulphur hexafluoride without being affected by pressure and temperature fluctuations. The module has been tuned in such a way that there is no cross-sensitivity to the related gas CF4 and thus a clear determination is possible, even in mixtures. Depending on the application, a measuring range between 30 vol.% and 100 vol.% can be selected. The advantage over sensors already available on the market is the high linearity and accuracy even in the lower measuring range < 10 vol.%. The sensor has the already known interfaces (RS232, CAN) and can be controlled and read out via the freely available MARS tool. Optionally, the module can also be equipped with a Modbus interface.
