The triaxial ICP® accelerometers models 354B04 and 354B05 from PCB Piezotronics offer TEDS - Transducer Electronic Data Sheet - with data on sensitivity, calibration date and serial number as standard.
Especially for measurements on structures with potential, the sensors are designed with case isolation. In this way, the sensor element and the entire electronics are safely galvanically isolated from the surface of the test object.
The hermetically welded titanium housings with an edge length of only 21 mm are weighing approx. 14 grams and uses a through-hole for mounting. The electrical connection is made with a ¼-28 inch 4-pin connector and allows the use of standard triaxial measuring cables. The two models cover the measuring ranges 50 g and 500 g and measure in the frequency range up to 10.000 Hz.
The models are ideal for testing new eVTOL aircraft as well as modal and structural testing in automotive development. The hermetically sealed housings are low in outgassing due to their design and can therefore also be used in vacuum environments, such as in space tests.
