NTCs are used in a wide range of applications. However, they suffer from non-linear behavior, which increases the circuitry effort. digid's temperature sensor innovation is characterized by:
- a strictly linear behavior (r²=0.99) over a temperature range of more than 140°C
- can be used over a wide temperature range (-80°C to 250°C).
Due to the miniaturized sensor size, response times < 40 ms can be achieved. Basic resistances (@T=20°C) can be provided in the range from 5kΩ to 1MΩ. The sensors can also be manufactured and supplied in a customer-specific, highly integrated way. A customer-specific sensor arrangement, e.g. an array of 256 sensors on 2x2 mm², is possible.
