Sykno introduces the ERSY series of Embedded Radar Sensors, distinguished by their significantly reduced form factor (smaller than an 1€-Cent), making them ideal for applications such as IoT, presence detection, gesture recognition, and collision avoidance. These sensors seamlessly integrate into customer designs, requiring only an SPI interface and power supplies of 1.8V and 3.3V. Additionally, Sykno provides a C-library tailored to the customer's microcontroller, granting access to various functionalities, including determining distances, angles, and velocities to targets, as well as settings for sample rate and frequency bandwidth. This enables direct integration of the sensor into the customer's system without the need for additional resources for radar algorithm development.
Customers can pre-test the sensors and algorithms using an evaluation system equipped with an integrated microcontroller. Furthermore, a Python-based graphical user interface is included, allowing customers to identify and evaluate the optimal sensor for their application with minimal time investment.
