Gas-damped piezoresistive accelerometer for shock measurements
Jan 16, 2024
With the Model 2262B, PCB/Endevco offers a new shock accelerometer. The sensor uses a damped piezoresistive MEMS multimode sensing element with exceptional frequency bandwidth from DC up to 40 kHz. Three measuring ranges, 1,000, 2,000 and 6,000 g are available. The electrical signal is fed out of the hermetically sealed stainless steel housing via a 4-pin socket. The matching low-noise measuring cable, model 3915, is available separately.
With these specifications, this sensor is suitable for measuring long-lasting transient shocks, such as in structural investigations, shock measurements or vehicle tests.
