SENSOR+TEST 2021 and SMSI 2021 will take place digitally

As the probability is unfortunately still low that a personal innovation dialog at the SENSOR+TEST in Nuremberg in May 2021 will be possible, and as there is no sufficient prospect of annulment of the restrictions due to the pandemic, we are unfortunately forced to renounce the face-to-face part of SENSOR+TEST also for this year. To stick to this part of the hybrid fair is no longer economically justifiable for all participants against the background of the associated risks. However, the digital part of SENSOR+TEST 2021 and SMSI 2021 will take place as planned.

With this decision, made together with the exhibitors’ committee and the executive board of the AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement, we intend to give you, as an exhibitor, planning reliability at an early stage.


Information for Exhibitors

We booked a booth for the face-to-face exhibition – what happens with our application?
As we unfortunately can no longer meet your application to the full extent, we offer you a free cancellation of your booking. However, we would be very happy if you change your application to a participation in the "Digital Area" of the SENSOR+TEST 2021. Thus you will have all chances to benefit from the advantages of the digital SENSOR+TEST.

How will our credit note from 2020 be dealt with?
If you cancel your participation completely, your credit note will expire. In case of participation in the „Digital Area“ it will be charged against the booking and the utilization of further additional and support services for your digital appearance. We will be glad to make you an individual offer.

We booked a place on the special forum „Sensor and Measuring Technology for Condition Monitoring“ – can we change this application?
Yes, you can change your application to a participation in the "Digital Area" or cancel your booking. Important! In the new online platform you can assign your company to the special topic.

We booked a place at the special stand „Vision Sensors and Systems” - can we change this application?
Yes, you can change your application to a participation in the "Digital Area" or cancel your booking. Important! In the new online platform you can assign your company to the special stand.

Which services are included in a participation in the „Digital Area“?

When can we start to enter our content for the digital participation?
You will soon receive more informationen via e-mail. We are ready to start as soon as the reorganization from the hybrid to the digital SENSOR+TEST will be finished.

How will services ordered from AMA Service GmbH (via the shop of NürnbergMesse) be dealt with?
Orders which only relate to the face-to-face part, will be canceled and not invoiced.  
If you already booked forum lectures for instance, you can keep to this order – in line with the digital SENSOR+TEST they will be broadcasted via live stream. Soon you will receive more informationen.

How will services (such as water supply, power connections, system stands, etc.) ordered from the NürnbergMesse shop be dealt with?
These orders will generally be canceled. In case of stand construction please contact the service provider directly. Costs for designs, drawings, etc. may be occurred.  

Will AMA Service GmbH reimburse costs for services booked at third parties (such as hotels, transportation ticket providers, etc.)?
No, AMA Service GmbH will not reimburse such services. Please contact the third party in question directly.  

When will the next SENSOR+TEST take place as a face-to-face fair?
The SENSOR+TEST 2022 will take place from 10 – 12 May 2022.

What happens in the meantime?
We will continue to be there for you and will support your preparations for the digital SENSOR+TEST 2021. Your content on the online platform will be available for interested persons even after the date of this year’s event until 31 December 2021. And it will be promoted by us via regular newsletters, social media postings and other activities all-the-year.
