Acetylene (systematic name: ethyne) gas is used for welding and has a lower explosion limit of 2.3 Vol%. Strict control and monitoring of process and personal safety is essential for operators and companies. Membrapor is thrilled to add Acetylene as a new gas to its portfolio. We are offering sensors with nominal ranges of 20 ppm, 200 ppm, and 2000 ppm, respectively, with a high selectivity for C2H2 gas. This facilitates early-warning measures in process control.
