4-20 mA vibration transmitter with RMS or peak output.
With the 65XA9x series, PCB Piezotronics is expanding its range of 4-20 mA vibration transmitters with further new and cost-effective models.
The current loop operated sensors combine the capabilities of a piezoelectric vibration sensor with those of a 4-20 mA transmitter.The hermetically sealed stainless steel housing (IP 68) is equipped with a 4-pin M12 connector, which simplifies the use of cost-effective and pre-assembled cables.
In addition to the model 655A9x (peak value), the model 656A9x outputs the output signal as a root mean square (RMS) value. This is ideal for continuous monitoring of rotating machines in the manufacturing and process industries.
Thanks to the 4-20mA output, it can be used with any PLC, DCS or SCADA system.
The piezoelectric sensor element used contributes to improved accuracy and increased frequency response in the range of 3.5 to 2,000 Hz and enables use in ambient temperatures up to 105 °C.
Three versions of the 656A9x are available with measuring ranges from 0 to 12.7 / 25.4 and 50.8 mm/s.
