Our pyroelectric quad detectors are highly sensitive and designed for measuring typical gases, such as CO2, nitrogen compounds, and anesthetic gases. They are suitable for demanding applications in aerospace, medicine, industry, and environmental technology. The pyroelectric detectors achieve a very high detectivity of up to 4.0*108 cm√Hz/W and a sensitivity of up to 200000 V/W due to their chips with a thin-film membrane made of ceramic pyroelectric material. The detectors have a wide spectral range of 2-15 µm (optimized 3-5 µm), high sensitivity with a modulation frequency up to 100 Hz, low microphone effect, very low temperature dependence and an amplified signal in current mode.

Micro-Hybrid's unique detector design allows for a high modulation frequency of up to 100 Hz and a short response time, ensuring reliable measurement results in NDIR gas analysis. Micro-Hybrid is the only manufacturer of 4-channel pyroelectric detectors with a high performance membrane in a TO39 package.
