The VG221s are the smallest fiber optic gyroscopes worldwide. They are also extremely lightweight (15 gram!) and consume as low as 0.3W of power. These industry-leading SWaP (size, weight and power) parameters make the VG221 well-suited for space- and layout-limited applications such as miniature gimbal stabilization, drone navigation, borehole surveying, and underground utilities mapping to name a few.
In addition, the VG221MS in μ-metal housing is immune to magnetic fields whereas the VG221LN is a low-noise variant. All models in the series are ITAR-free.
