The SILO2 Oxygen Analyzer has been designed to specifically address the OEM market’s requirements for a low cost SIL2-rated oxygen analyzer for inertisation applications.
The complete system (analyzer and sensor) meets the requirements of IEC 61508 SIL2.

The SILO2 offers fast response, high repeatability and no sensor drift, making it a low maintenance analyzer solution that delivers reliable performance for safety critical process control applications such as gas generation (oxygen/nitrogen), additive manufacturing, pharmaceutical industries, and industrial gas.
With a measurement range of 0 to 25% oxygen, the analyzer unit features solid state ceramic electrode sensor technology suited to harsh process applications, analogue 4 to 20mA output for retransmission of measured signal (SIL2 Rated), RS485 communications, and 24VDC power supply.
The Din Rail mounted control unit with galvanic barrier included and remote electrochemical sensor with interconnecting cable (up to 30m) provides a flexible, easily integrated package. The installation is made even easier with the choice of three sensor mounting options: a flow-through base, TRI-Clamp or an ANSI 2” 150lbs flange.
Oxygen analyzers, such as the SILO2 from PST, are critical in aiding the employer/operator to ensure their zones or safe areas are maintained reliably to achieve at least tolerably safe working conditions. oxygen analyzers may be used as part of the basic process control system – for control and operation of the inerting system – or separately, as an independent safety system to monitor the correct functioning of the basic process control system and initiate a suitable response in the event that a fault is detected.
